Snapshots of August in Europe

I have been in Bologna for a little over two weeks now, and finally have gotten down to the tedious task that everyone has been waiting for. Posting pictures.
I realized that I haven't mentioned much about where I have gone and what I've really been up to the last month or so; but have you ever done so much that you have no idea where you should even start? The usual cliché is to start from the beginning...which unfortunately I won't be doing. Instead, I'm going to try to be a good student and do my homework. Think of these pictures as previews for my next post! :)

No, this picture is not a picture of a post-card (which I have been known to do!) This is the spectacular view of the Republic of San Marino, the oldest republic of Europe!

If you look carefully, you can see the Adriatic Sea!

Traveling alone tends to have its advantages...including wandering hidden paths of ancient cities that culminate in some of the most amazing views of Emilia-Romagna, and the surrounding hills of San Marino.
